Want to “win” the war on terror? Don’t declare war in the first place. Don’t give all your energy and attention to all those revolting energies terrorism loves best. Instead, advance the causes of solidarity, unity, harmony.

I believe that the author of this piece should go to Iraq to find "unity" with members of ISIS or to Nigeria to find "harmony" with member of Boko Haram and report back to us.

Yepper - fighting those who have begun to slaughter you only causes them to keep hating you. Much better to let them do the job quick so there's nothing left for them to hate...

IOW, allowing them to kill you, and supporting them as victims with no other rational recourse, while supplying them with protection and funds, is the only humane way to deal with them.

Or, as I once overheard the 5 year old across the street say to my young brother, "Scotty, I'm going to hit you, but don't you hit me back", is now a valid ROE.

Miss Morford, haven’t heard from her in awhile.
Does she still beat her girlfriend?

Mark Morford is still around? I thought he died of AIDS long ago.

Ha-ha! I guessed it was Miss Morford before I saw the byline. He appears to be regressing in mental and emotional age to somewhere around junior high school; I'm guessing it's his diet.

Yeah, Mark, nobody ever thought of trying peace before. It takes a New Age genius and yoga instructor to come up with that epiphany. Smile at your killers and their hearts will melt. Best of luck with that.

At what point this rambling discourse touched on cancer is easy to spot but a little difficult to explain. Vibes, baby. Medicine and foreign policy are exactly alike, it's all about the vibes.
