Saw [Bo] do a lot of his stuff for the Royals and was amazed.

Had Bo stuck with baseball post-college, I believe he would be in the Hall of Fame today. One of the most gifted athletes I've ever seen -- on the gridiron and on the diamond.

And his head was/is screwed on right, as well...

He was a good ballplayer, but not a great one. All the athletic ability in the world doesn't help if you have trouble hitting a breaking ball.

He would have been smart to stick with baseball simply because an average baseball player earns a lot more than a great football player over the course of a career.
