SANFORD --
A Seminole County judge has set $5,000 bond for George Zimmerman, who was arrested Friday night in Lake Mary.
The 31-year-old was booked around 9:45 p.m. for aggravated assault -- domestic violence with a weapon. According to Don West, Zimmerman's attorney, his client threw a wine bottle during the incident.
Zimmerman is prohibited from contacting the victim, returning to her home or entering Volusia County. He must surrender all firearms by Tuesday, but will not have to wear a GPS monitoring device.
He is due back in court at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 17 in front of Judge Donna McIntosh.
This was Zimmerman's third arrest in recent years.

Very few people would be after going through what he went through.
Sad.
What a fool.If he cant control himself and is going to go ballistic around the women he should at least leave the gun at home......and also start choosing different type bitches
I suspect he “ain’t right” in the types of women he connects himself to.

He really should seek serious help.
Yup have to see how this one plays out.....Maybe he gets set up?
He should keep to himself while he’s at it too
Really? What happened to individual responsibility? What is up with the excuse making?
was the “victim” an Africam American?
I've noticed the same thing. First, it was the ex-wife. Then, it was the girlfriend (about 14 months ago). In both cases, the accusers recanted and the charges were dropped.
I think Zimmerman has made some poor choices in mates. He has to learn to recognize the red flags before things escalate, or just walk away when things are getting out of control.
Staffers in the New York Times newsroom were reportedly nailing together a real-life cross this morning.
Is throwing a bottle of wine worse than throwing an ashtray? Maybe I should ask Hillary! about that...
I believe the weapon referred to in the charges was the wine bottle. As for choosing different women, George has his options limited by his inability to earn a living and just live a normal life. He needs to go join the French Foreign Legion or something. Really go back to square one.
He should move, get a new look and change his name to “Ben Ghazi.”
The press would never mention him again.

Agree. I think the whole public outrage and side taking has twisted his thinking. If this had went through the judicial system without all the publicity I think he would have survived more intact.
What is up with the excuse making?
See justlurking’s post 11. It articulates what I’m talking about.
It’s not excuse making. It’s based on my analysis fed by past events.
From what I’ve read, this guy was an Obama supporter. “This boy just ain’t right” goes back long before the Trayvon Martin case.
Didn’t BOTH the last two arrests turn out to be hoaxes by the beyotch involved?
