I'd take Romney. He seems more like he is learning, understanding, and trying to be more conservative as the years go on. Bush on the other hand is floating ideas that seem far less conservative to me as the years go on.
However, CRUZ IS MY TOP CHOICE!!! Go CRUZ!
I can not vote for a Mormon ... and there is no way I would vote for another Bush.. so I would stay home
False choice. If that really is the option, I choose John Galt.
Anyone but Bush. I really don’t like Jeb.
I happen to think that writing in a conservative makes an unambiguous point that the nominated candidate is unacceptable.
No Bush. No Romney.
Of those two, Romney, easily.
no more bushes....EVER..
and mcromney can go to hell....
looks like libertarian party in ‘16
(libertarians may not be the ideal choice, but they do believe in the constitution, as written, not as interpreted)
the only way back from the brink is through strict adherence to the constitution..
there is no other way..
flame away
If that is our choice I would like to say congratulations Madam President.
Ditto - none of the above. As many times as I threatened not to vote, I ain’t voting for either one if that is my choice. The GOPe needs to crash and burn.
None of the cadidates presenting now are appealing at all.
No to Harvard graduates, or Yale, or Columbia.
I have had enough of them. They are what has gotten us into this mess in the first place.
Someone else, anyone else.
So listen, I’m looking for part time work that I can do from home.
Does Romney’s crew pay well for stuff like this?
Not that I’d post crap like this on FR but I figure there’s a goldmine needing some work at Huffington Post, Daily Kos, etc extolling the liberal positions of Romney. I mean they all need to know what a true soul mate they have in Mitt.
Plus he’s got a better voice than cankles or Pocaholic.
Or maybe Jeb, that hispanic wife would be the first Latina Flotus. That ought to grab the LaRaza folk block.
Conversion, that’s the ticket!
So, can you hook me up? Wink, wink.
If the republican candidate is a liberal, why should a conservative vote for him or her? I don’t vote for libs in either party. Both parties’ libs don’t like us conservatives and want to eliminate us. The dems stab us in the front, the RINOs stab us in the back. I won’t oblige either one of them with my vote.
No, that is a recipe for another RINO. The slate should be a group of conservatives, and let them argue about who is more conservative, not a bunch of RINO's fake arguing that the true conservative is a nutbag.
Romney is a proven LOSER. He already lost when everything was in his favor (economy, Obamacare). How many times do we want to lose with this guy? Also I hate to say it but a lot of religious people won’t vote for him because he is Mormon and they consider that a cult. (Sad but true).
Bush and Romney seem to both be pro-homosexual marriage so I will be voting for Ted Cruz in the primary.
A vote for Romney in the primary is a vote for another loss in the general.
Stay home or write in Cruz. I will NOT vote for either of those two losers.
Not voting for either one. Will write in Ted Cruz.
Why do people keep forgetting that Romney did win an election once, he was a disaster, he was incompetent, that is why he couldn't be reelected and left office with 34%, and lost the seat to the democrats.
He is also the least honest and honorable of all republicans. His appearance and manner are mild and non-threatening, but in reality he is a true pathological liar, and it has taken him many years and 100s of millions of dollars and advisers to create this recent appearance of consistency stability that the less well informed see from him.
Romney is a basket case of lies, and left wing beliefs and positions, he lies even when he doesn't need to, that is why there are two opposite Mitts captured in speeches and videos.
And many of those people will choose Romney or Bush.
Yeah. That’s the problem.
Well Romney was pro homosexual and pro abortion and pro gay marriage before he was against it, but after he was against it too.
