You could live in NC and be cold and wet.
I had cold, wet and frozen while living in Brooklyn, New York as a child where I would walk miles in the snow to school.
That was made up of course in the summer by 99% humidity without any of the tropical views given by places like Hawaii.
Gee, wonder why I NEVER went back. :-)
In all fairness, when I got to California it was not made into a pig sty for losers yet.
