After 25 Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives embarrassed Speaker John Boehner by voting against his re-election bid, the newly re-elected Boehner has begun to exact his revenge on those that opposed him.
According to a Politico source, conservative House members Daniel Webster and Rich Nugent, both from Florida, will lose their spots on the highly coveted House Rules Committee.

People come to the realization of these things at different times for various reasons, one of them being they didn’t want to believe it yes.

Partisan politics in the US is a game of three-card monte where the uniparty runs the game and controls the rules. The only way to win is not to play. Which is really what they fear; what if the uniparty had their petty intrigues and nobody participated and did everything they could to avoid the impacts?
I understand that. I truly do. But stubbornness and self delusion...the desire for the spirit of Reagan to still be there delayed that or stopped it outright in many people. The direct result is the GOP grew leftward and grew in power because those people willfully refused to accept reality.
I understand they are ashamed of it now. They don’t want to admit it. But its a 12 step thing. One has to admit they have a problem before anything else. If not to all of us they stepped on with the shilling, then to themselves.

I can’t say how I will treat those people you speak of when that time comes but I don’t think I’ll have any mercy left. For now tho, all I can do is try to stay patient and calm and keep trying to reach people with the truth as I know it In the smallest hope that a miracle will occur and save us from that horrible fate that awaits us.

There’s always room for a miracle of course. But I have to think the guy with that sort of ability pretty much isn’t interested since we willfully brought this on our damn selves. And told him to pound salt in the process.
