After 25 Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives embarrassed Speaker John Boehner by voting against his re-election bid, the newly re-elected Boehner has begun to exact his revenge on those that opposed him.
According to a Politico source, conservative House members Daniel Webster and Rich Nugent, both from Florida, will lose their spots on the highly coveted House Rules Committee.

Slavery has always been an endless supply of cheap labor, you can thnk our first black president for returning America to that system.
Wow.
Our second. Bill just had sex slaves.
Coercion is NOT a tool needed by a REAL leader! John Boehner is NOT a real leader and therefore must resort to that tool of oppression!
The sad fact of the matter is, big business has been able to buy 90% of the politicians in D.C. It was always bad, but the past 20 years or so, it has gotten much worse.More importantly, American businessmen are not nearly as patriotic as they once were. They are more often than not, amoral, and devoid of ethics.
Boehner who?
Any good suggestions? For myself, I will vote for R’s if they have stood up to the establishment, that’s it.
That list is pretty short, Sarah, Cruz, Mike Le, there are more, but those are the obvious. I would also consider 3rd party, but only again if they had a history of standing up to the establishment. Last I will vote D to simply stop the republicans, and to take away a vote from someone who erroneously believes they are voting the lesser of two evils.
Why the surprise? It’s not like they havent been OPENLY acting like the DNC for 6 years now. I am honestly and no joke amazed by the shock people hacve over these ‘revelations’. They hid nothing. Did no one pay attention to their rule changes? Their multiple power grabs? The benching of any and all that did not toe the line?
It was in all the pepers.
Dispite being ragged on, some of us tried warning people exactly what was coming and were ignored.
Next time folks, listen. And consider before blowing opinions like ours off. We base them on fact, not ‘hope for change’.
Saint Valentine's Day is just around the corner.
Admit it... You know you want to do it...

” Slavery has always been an endless supply of cheap labor, you can thnk our first black president for returning America to that system.”
And we can thank the GOP Establishment for pushing the exact same thing as Obama, albeit for entirely different reasons. Boehner & McConnell must have been in 7th heaven when Obama issued his “executive action”
Businesses want money, politicians want power. It’s a match made in hell. I don’t think things are that different now than 20 years ago, it’s just more obvious thanks to how quickly information moves around now. Remember Ike’s farewell address was “beware the military industrial complex”, the power of business over politicians was already known.
It’s ok when there’s an R attached. I can think of any number of people that will ‘prove’ it to you. Oh sure they will deny the hell out of it. You just have to ask who they voted for.
If they say it was a conservative, have them name him. If they say GOP, there’s the proof they approve of the GOP’s actions. If they say the GOP member is a conservative, ask them why their conservative is still helping empower a party of evil.
And Cruz and Palin need to either leave or openly back the GOP because they can’t have it both ways.
I’m losing the will for the whole fight. So much of the situation is so cyclical (who wins and loses in elections is so set you can predict results a decade in advance) and so few people have shown any ability to actually change anything. Really I’m one more election of nothing but annoying candidates away from just burning my card and walking away.
I hate to say this, but we don’t have a year or two to “turn things around. We have to stop the fed whores with state action. I don’t know if it can work, but we have to try.
For example, if we allow Boehner & McConnell amnesty, the country is finished. Obama will recruit half of the world to move here,(only the poorest, and least educated) and chain migration of our existing illegals will finish the war. Game over. 2016? It won’t matter a bit.
What gets me really isn’t the Dems or GOP. They are the RESULT of the problem. The actual problem is the idiots that willfully empower them. Those idiots are “America” today.
Until America changes, DC stays as it is. And DC is nothing but a reflection of America. We need to ‘fix’ America. Not DC. We ‘cant’ fix DC any other way. Fix what ails us and DC fixes itself.
Same as it ever was.
All these hysterical fools can scream ‘lesser evil!” till the blue fills their face. All that says is that they are willing to embrace evil over principle to win.
THAT’s whats wrong with America. We/They want to win more than we want whats right.
It doesn’t matter now when the furthest right site on the net is filled with RINO supporters. That tells you that the general public is majority RINO already.
The best we can do is love our families, stay the ciurse and fight every inch till it collapses. Because the majority will NOT fight aside us. Only against us.
True enough. What’s that old quip “the great part about democracy is it gives people the government they deserve”. If we’re a better people then the subsection of us that get into politics will be better and the government they build will be better. Of course how do you fix 300 million people?
With well defined rules until someone boldly colors outside of the boundaries.
He’s a squish.
You don’t. It collapses and the best survive. Then they carry on better for it.
In the long term, Obamacare will stop up what had been the fountain of the best health care progress in the world, namely the market driven USA.
A few concierge doctors are not going to come up with the next great [fill in the difficult illness here] treatment. This is going to come back to bite the royalty when they become ill.
