The two men suspected of attacking a newspaper in Paris have stolen a car and reportedly have several hostages.
A car chase is under way on the N2 motorway, and police sources say shots have been fired.
The car is now on the outskirts of Paris - close to Charles de Gaulle airport - and several helicopters are reportedly hovering overhead.
Sky's Ian Woods says the police focus now appears to have turned to an industrial building near to the airport.
Two people with gunshot wounds have been taken to hospital in Meaux.

A Le Parisien article from July 2009 purports to show that Amedy Coulibaly was to meet Nicolas Sarkozy. Coulibaly worked at a Coca-Cola factory in Grande-Borne in Grigny, a southern Parisian suburb, and was due to meet the former French president as part of an effort from the Elysee to support companies committed to employing young people. “I’m really please. I don’t know what I’ll say to him. I guess I’ll start with hello. Hopefully the president can help me get a job,” he said.
He added: “People from Grigny don’t often go to the Elysee. Also, Sarkozy isn’t very popular with young people, but it’s nothing personal. In fact it’s the same for most politicians. Meeting him will be very impressive though. Like him or not he’s still the president.”
The article also reveals that Coulibaly has nine sisters.

A woman has told how she received a phone call from her mother, who is being held hostage in the shop in Porte de Vincennes.
She told Europe 1: “She called me and told me ‘I am in the shop, I love you’.
“I am scared. Someone told me there have been two deaths. No one has told me if it is my mother or not.”
Police have called for shops on the Rue des Rosiers, in the Jewish quarter of Paris, to close early “as a precaution”.
