You are so right that the Saudis are WAAAAY underreporting stampede deaths!
The real numbers would make the Saudis look like the incompetent inbred desert s**t that they are, and it would give too much satisfaction to us “infidels”.
Rather surprised they reported it at all.
The Hajj must rake in a lot of money for the regions.
I doubt they want much negative press.
