During the January 7 terror attack on the Charlie Hebdo headquarters, several Paris police officers fled, unable to disarm the threat, because they themselves were unarmed and outgunned.
Breitbart News previously reported that “black-hooded-men” with Kalashnikovs entered the Charlie Hedbo headquarters and opened fire, killing 12 people–including those who were killed outside the building as the gunmen headed back to their car.
CBS News relayed reports from Britain’s Telegraph newspaper that the first two officers to arrive “were apparently unarmed” and “fled after seeing gunmen armed with automatic weapons and possibly a grenade launcher.”
The UK’s Independent reported that “three policemen arrived on bikes but had to leave because [the attackers] were armed.” A policeman who had been assigned the position of bodyguard to Charlie Hebdo editor, Stephane Charbonnier, was killed, and one policeman on a mountain bike was killed, as well.

I walked with my family through Amsterdam about 12 years ago (we were on a tour but had lived in Germany for 3 years by then).
Amsterdam was beautiful, but we came to a section that was complete Muslim. It was as if a dark cloud had descended upon us. We were with other European families, some with young children in baby carriages. The men were all gather around, sitting around, standing around....doing nothing but leering, smoking, loitering, and squinting in disapproval at the young women in our group while lusting for them at the same time.

I had a spooky moment at Charles de gaul. Then the cops walked by packin some serious heat. The guys giving me the hebies scattered like roaches. Not sure what was about to happen before they got there. That is a big place and I was way out in b.f.e. very late at night. The hotel shuttle showed up and I couldn’t get on fast enough.
It is that way in all things, not just Islam. People just don’t want to hear it. Or act on it.

Don’t worry Jim. I’m sure a strongly worded letter from the UN will have the Muzzies quaking in their boots.

There are millions of legally held firearms in private hands in Australia. I own a number of them myself.
People in America have been lied to about the firearms situation in Australia. We have our share of dumb gun laws - but we've got plenty of guns.

I was in Paris about ten years ago, and all the Police were armed.
France should declare martial law on the infamous “no-go” areas of their cities and root out the vermin.

Looks like that sure as hell has changed!!!!
So am I - I have a .38 precisely because I believed at the time that was the most I could get without a more specialised licence.
This is part of the genuine problems we have with the laws. They are sometimes really hard to navigate.
(I’m now comfortable with the 38, so I’m living with the situation - but I wish things were a lot simpler).
