DEVELOPING: Authorities in Columbus, Ohio responded Wednesday to a deadly shooting on the second floor of the Port Columbus Airport, MyFox28Columbus.com reported.
The report said one suspect was killed in the police-involved shooting. The second floor departure is closed, but the airport remains open and flights are operating normally. There were no reports of other injuries.

The airport officer shot and killed the person at about 1 p.m. on the second level departure area of the Port Columbus Airport. The officer wasn’t hurt, neither were any passengers. Police have not said what led up to the shooting.

Port Columbus Shooting Update: A fight between a tow truck driver and an unidentified person occurred just before the Columbus International Airport shooting, prompting a police officer to radio for assistance. The shooting suspect was in the ticketing area just prior to the fatal shooting, according to 10tv News.
