Former CNN host Piers Morgan posted several tweets this morning about the deadly shooting that occurred in France.
When mass shootings have occurred in the U.S., Morgan has wasted no time calling for stricter gun control laws:

All we have left between US and THEM is our 2nd amendment rights. Americans allow this current government to disarm them, a slaughter will happen and it will be because we failed to fight the battle right in front of our faces.
Yes, I fully expect the nation’s leftists to carefully abide by their socialist ideology – a big feature of that being the taking away of the people’s means of defense from their tyranny.
And sometimes they are more transparently obvious about it than other times.

I would speculate that the gun-grabber socialists of the nation’s left fall into a couple categories on why they want to take the people’s guns.
Some are merely going for the ‘something for nothing scam’ – they go for the “Feel Good” positive vibes of taking away other people’s Commonsense Civil Rights…..
…. They can gain ‘protection’ at no cost to them… the free-lunch canard applied to guns.
Some want the people to be even more dependent on the government for their protection – including the raising of taxes to pay for more police ‘;protection’.
And some have the deep dark motivation of wanting to ‘take out’ their enemies… Bill Ayers.. etc.
Of course, many are of all three motivations.
