House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says that members of her depleted ranks plan Tuesday to put forward a legislative package aimed at stopping corporations from organizing overseas for tax purposes and pushing CEOs to give their employees raises.
In sharp contrast to Republicans whose first vote in the new Congress will be to advance additional tax cuts for the wealthy and special interests, we will bring forward -SNIP-

And that pretty much spells out the intellectual bankruptcy of liberalism. How about putting together a tax package so that these companies would never even want to go overseas for tax purposes, and in fact, companies from overseas would want to come over here? The fact that there is a reason companies may want to move overseas isn't even considered in any reform proposal but Pelosi and company shows just how clueless and destructive their proposals are.
"Hitler calls for non-violence and peace, invades Poland starting World War II."
Irony is so ironic.
Yeah. I don’t get it.
I just do not get it.
I wanted to call and tell him to enjoy it while he can because in 2017 the Democrats are going back in the majority.
Bipartisanship is a dirty intra party deal making. Both parties do not talk to voters anymore the way Reagan did. It is all plantation slave counts now.
Let me get this straight:
Pelosi appeals for bipartisanship
Pelosi then blasts Republicans
Has she forgotten with whom she’ll have to “be bipartisan?”
In either case, her definition of bipartisan is the same as every other liberal: Do it our way or else.
It’s both.
For the liberals every coin flip is a “heads they win, tails we lose” scenario.
“There she goes again.”
Nancy and Harry read my lips, “You lost.”
I recall a quote along the lines of “democracy” being the dictatorship of the masses (or the mob).
So in a lot of ways “Democrat” does indeed fit the Democrats. The US isn’t a democracy, we’re a Constitutional, representative republic. Which is why the term “Republican” fits me. At least in theory and principle, if not always practice.
This commonly-held belief is mostly an exaggeration that liberals began telling themselves to take the sting off their most recent ass-kicking. In fact, the 2016 Senate picture is nothing like a mirror image of 2012. The seats that the Republicans picked up were mostly in red states. The seats that liberals are counting on to be in play are mostly purple. The liberal predictions make questionable assumptions like Mary Landrieu returning to knock off Dick Burr in Louisiana, and Harry Reid defying the odds again in Nevada.
If the Republicans nominate a strong presidential candidate in 2016, it is entirely likely that they will increase their gains in the Senate.
