Im glad theres a moderate Democrat finally running for president. I just wish he were running on the Democratic ticket. Jeb Bush, a likely Republican presidential candidate, called for respect of same-sex marriages on Monday as his home state of Florida began allowing gays to wed following a court ruling.
Bush, a former governor of Florida, said in a statement that even those like him who oppose same-sex marriage must respect the rule of law now that the states ban on gay marriages has been ruled unconstitutional. Do you know what else is the law of the land? ObamaCare. So I assume Jeb will ask us to respect the rule of law on that too!
When a gay marriage was against the rule of law, did the other side respect it...?

I voted for Romeny too but holding my nose while doing it knowing he was a liberal in sheep’s clothing. He wouldn’t have been as destructive as Obama perhaps but giving up during the debates he showed he has no stones, which is something you can’t say about Obama. Basically those two would have taken the country to the same place only using different routes and Romeny would have taken longer to get there.
Have fun voting for Jeb Bush knowing full well before he even runs he is going to sell out the conservative base. Serious question are you even a conservative? What are you even doing on Free Republic?
Are you one of Jeb bush’s lackeys, sent out to conservative sites to spar with those that don’t approve of him. I dont see anything wrong with wardaddy calling Jeb Bush’s wife a Mexicrat or whatever term he used. It is true not asinine.
If we had the rule of law, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and barrack Obama would be serving lengthy prison terms. Therefore, the rule of law is not an issue. Laws are now used to control the slaves.
Oh goody
Knights to the rescue
I know you hoss
You and Sinkspur
I got a long memory
He’s a troll.
Sink and some others are over on GOPBR rushing and spinning to defend the GOPe ever since the election went down and events began to transpire during and after CROmnibus exactly as the more experienced there said it would. Sadly predictable.
I figured he was a liberal troll at best but I just wondered what rock he crawled out of.
Amazing how a few 2005 pathway to citizenship types persist
A decade later
I found one of the locals there telling sinkspur: "You and your Chamber of Commerce buddies can go STRAIGHT to hell so far as I'm concerned!"
So it looks like sinkspur makes friends everywhere he goes, lol.
(Sorry for being in acronym mode on my last post)
He certainly does!
If anybody remembers the True Blue Liberty site, there was a poster there called “War” and although he was a full blown liberal, he was just about as annoying.
GOPBR is too PC, especially lately. Why I left there.
That site is imploding over what Sink has done to it.
You deserve a medal for keeping an eye on that site.
A vile task, but somebody’s got to do it...
He gets vulgar with anyone who doesn’t agree with him and after each GOPe candidate he runs to fails, it just escalates...I suspect when Rubio is out, he will lose it altogether. Out of control situation there. Pity.
Will no longer visit.
