I have been thinking the same thing, but I think that the alcoholism nay be enough to account for his actions.

Alcoholics tend to have a whole trail of embarrassing things they need to have kept quiet. So do politicians... combine the two factors, and it's pretty much guaranteed that he has things he's vulnerable for.

Obama has a history of abusing his power with the various agencies under his control (IRS, CIA, etc.)... so controlling the speaker of the house would be a very likely activity for him to have undertaken early on.

Other than some sort of severe brain damage or something, nothing else explains Bonehead's long record of disappointing behavior.

Why is it so hard for people to accept hes simply a liberal? That explains all his actions without conspiracy.

I think his record of disappointments is simply explained and no brain damage or vast conspiracies are required. He is simply doing what’s best for himself and his cronies. The ones who helped him get to and keep him in office.

The rest of the country be damned.

Forget about the next two years, it’s going to be a long rest of our lives.
