I encouraged my congressman to NOT vote for Boehner, and specifically TO vote for Gohmert.

I asked the staffer if they had received any other calls, and he said "yes, there is apparently some kind of robo-call going on", and asked me if I was calling because I had watched the news or just what. I replied that I had been watching what Boehner has done during his term as Speaker, making backroom deals, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory and generally being a disappointment at every turn. I also strongly encouraged him to NOT dismiss these calls as mere "robo-calls", that to do so would be a serious mistake. I pointed out that a LOT of people pay close attention these days, and we are tired of being lied to and betrayed, that we want them make something happen using the victory they were handed in November.

I hope they listen.

Oh yeah, I also encouraged him to stop by Tom Cole's office and give him some more coffee as he apparently needs to wake up!

Thanks, I got right through to Bilarakis' office. Spoke with Catherine. Nice lady. After getting my info she stated the congressmen would contact me on his decision.

She also stated they were getting a lot of calls.
