Louie explains that there is no way for Pelosi to get elected unless the Republicans vote 'PRESENT' (or directly for Pelosi). The only reason for RINOs to vote present would be out of spite and it takes 59 RINOs to do it.
Republicans rising up to remove Boehner

and the yutube:
Louie Gohmert To Challenge Boehner For Speaker Of The House
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gq7ZHl-INEs
Louie Gomert is a great American and also Ted Yoho. It takes some guts to go up against the leadership of your own party. I pray they get rid of Boehner or he will help Mitch McConnell squander the GOP majority over the next two years.
Go, Louie, GO!! Dump Boehner!!
We gotta go now...
A glimmer of hope may start to build in me if they were actually to do this.
Finally
A Speaker Gohmert would be fantastic. I’ve heard him interviewed on the radio quite a bit. Well-spoken, conservative, smart and not a pushover.
Hooray for patriots with testicular fortitude!!!
Gohmert seems to understand how to use the language of the Left, (ignorant sound-bites designed for ignorant people, like “The Party of No!”) against them.
It really is so easy to throw their own propaganda BS right back at them, but so few do it.
The “false information” about voting for candidates other than Boehner leading to Nancy Pelosi becoming Speaker was spread by my Republican Congressman Scott Perry of Pennsylvania in media appearances on local talk shows.
Perry was defending his support for Boehner last time.
My congressman arranges his votes to look more conservative while allowing bad laws to pass with his NO vote on the record.
Congressman Scott Perry of PA did something else that tells the truth even more. He had a fundraiser for himself in the district in 2013 with Speaker John Boehner speaking to the donors.
Godspeed, Mr. Representative.
Yes. Split vote cannot win it for Pelosi. Dems have 188. R has 246.
Only 29 R need to not vote for Boner.
12 did not vote for him last time.
Liberty Caucus has 36, which is more than 29.

What are the long shot odds Boehner would see the writing on the wall and withdraw his name? Zero? Snowball in H*ll?
That's a loaded requirement.
It's time to grow up.
I hope the next Speaker will be voted on also based on his ability to read and comprehend what he has read.
It’s encouraging that some republicans are now confident enough to make public statements of intent to become the new speaker. Of the two men, Louie Gohmert is more well known than Yoho, but we shall see. Last time we went through this selection, a Senator Labrador expressed interest in becoming Speaker. I hear nothing from him now, so perhaps his interest has now waned.
Go Louie go!
Unfortunately, it also means that all Boehner needs is enough Democrats voting “present” to compensate for the votes he doesn’t get from Republicans.
Yes, i would very much like to see Gohlmert as the Speaker of the House. He has a pair and woun’t follow the footsteps of the “Weeper of the House”
Like others on this forum, I would like our nation to move decisively rightward. I may not get what I want, but this is what I want:
1. True conservatives put together a coalition that can do more than merely veto Boehner as Speaker. A veto requires only a few dozen votes. What I want to see is a candidate that could best Boehner head-to-head — meaning 140 or more votes. I have seen no evidence yet that this guy has that kind of support in the House.
2. Taking power is not the difficult part. Calling Obama a liar, obstructionist, etc. is not the difficult part. I want to see a legislative agenda. This is what the House Speaker is supposed to do ... no more and no less.
So ... I want a new Speaker who has, let’s just say, 140-150 stuanch supporters, and I want this entire conservative coalition to have an affirmative legislative agenda put forward from the get go.
