Everyone is forgetting Princess Ann, the succession was changed IIRC in case George was a girl. Ann would be ahead of Andrew in the line for the throne and could be appointed Regent if the infant George suddenly became King. Andrew is now way down the list.

No. Princess Ann is actually way down on the list of succession- 11th and soon to be 12th. The line falls to the Queen’s direct prodigy through her sons first, and then to their children, her grandchildren in rank from the eldest on down. Her youngest son, Prince Edward and his two children would come before Ann.
