Once again, Sarah Palin has made her critics look like idiots. A fake controversy (I like the neologism, fakeroversy) was generated when PETA expressed outrage over a picture of Palin posted of her Down syndrome son Trig standing on his service dog, named Jill Hadassah, a black Labrador.

PETA = People Eating Tasty Animals.
Anyone who has owned a dog knows FULL-WELL that if a dog doesn’t like something, they are NOT SHY about letting you know it...often to the point of painfully knowing it, if you go too far. For the Lab in the picture, it probably felt more like a massage.
This dog was specially trained to be a companion to Trig so I’m sure “Jill” is particularly bonded to him and more than tolerant.
I was looking back at some articles when the dog was added to the family and the venom from the Left was flowing like a river .... when women have to have anti-Sarah blogs, you know two things: Sarah Rules and Leftist females who do this sort of thing are miserable creatures with no normal life to speak of.
I admire Sarah for posting what she wants to post instead of being “politically correct” and responding like the Mama Grizzly she is when attacked by the Left.
Labradors are multi-taskers. They function as bird dogs, companions for the handicapped, service companions, pillows, bed warmers, scrap eaters, encouragers, floor mats, guard dogs, friends, you name it.
In Hong Kong to get a (fully clothed - don’t get ideas) petite Chinese girl to walk all over your back like that costs money. And yes, it’s one of the best massages you’ll ever have.
And furniture eaters, as I’m being reminded with two lab mix puppies, lol.
LOL! Yup. My sister had a yellow lab that weighed about 90 lbs and he would lay across my wife and myself like a damn blanket when we would visit.
Labradors: Hearts of Gold, Heads of Stone and stomachs of iron
Our daughter fostered a lab/pit mix rescue. Really nice dog. The definition of laid back.
Look for more of this until Ms. Palin says she will NOT run. Conversely, if she says she will run, Katy bar the door. We will see ginned up “scandal” after ginned up “scandal” for the next 22 months.
Fear my friends. Fear.
Sarah once again taking up residence RENT FREE in the heads of liberal morons.
“Labradors: Hearts of Gold, Heads of Stone and stomachs of iron.”
Same with Golden Retrievers. Mine would let me perform brain surgery on him if I felt so inclined. As long as I kept giving him cookies to eat or a sock to play with.
I wonder if the commie libs would have been as “outraged” if Jill Hadassah had been a white Labrador.
Also, the anti-Palin Freepers who were chortling here a couple days ago that her career would be ruined over this silly "controversy" just received a much-deserved kick in the stomach.
“...anti-Palin Freepers...just received a much deserved kick in the stomach.”

I’d say those critics got kicked in a lower part of their anatomy, if you get my drift.
I’m with PETA with this. You do not allow your kids to stand on dogs. While to dog might tolerate it today, tomorrow he could have a bone broken or internal injuries. The dog has been trained to tolerate a lot from the kid but if hurt might bite him and then she’ll blame the dog. No, Palin, you are very wrong teaching your kid this behavior.
PETA was protesting trout fishing in the Great Smokey Mtns...They were crying, “Can’t you hear the poor trout screaming for it’s life in the hook?”
They were at Sugarlands Ranger Station, so I kept a nice rainbow and went to the station...In front of about 30 protesters, I took the trout out of my creel and took a great bite out of it’s side...As I chewed, I asked them if they heard it scream???
One girl threw up and several others ran from me...
I LOVED IT....
