An Oklahoma lawmaker has introduced a bill that would make wearing a hoodie the popular cold-weather garment that protects your face and head from the elements a crime punishable by a fine of up to $500, KFOR (Oklahoma City) is reporting.
Ostensibly, the proposed hoodie ban is meant to make Oklahoma safer from people who would conceal their identity, but civil liberties groups argue the ban is little more than another means of racial profiling.

Terry vs. Ohio....stop and frisk.
Understand what is in play here.
The police force is under attack. They will push back.
A law designed to keep people honest is under attack.
This isn’t about a hoodie. I can wear one everyday.
This is about concealment and everyday activity. The folks on this board would be amazed if their world was 1914.
Welcome. First rule of “There is a law that says...” is to actually find the law and read it. In probably 99% of all cases when an alert is posted about a law the law doesn’t say what the poster says it says.
The irony....lol
I’m pretty sure ya gotta pass it to find out what’s in it :)
hehe. yeah. dat be it.
Maybe Old Ben needs another pot of coffee(or two) but I can not understand what you are saying.
Yea but I really wanted this...;)
Just d@mn!
I had found the PDF of the bill and was trying to convert it and clean it up to a readable and postable format. However, being that I’m a slow typist on a slow computer, I wasn’t doing very well.
You saved me a lot of time. :)
Burkas excepted.
Oops burqa
Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful. Hate the game, not the Playa.
Don’t ban them in public, just give us the right to ban them from our businesses.
That law is in every state. Common Sense is the rule.
From what I understand, you are not allowed to expose yourself either.
LOL. At least there the loons stand out in the crowd. Here in California, not so much.
“The Nazis were socialists and killed 6 milllion Jewish people. Thanks for never being so stupid to bring that reference up again.”
Ill bring it up anytime I please sparky. There is a crowd that acts like even the smallest effort to do responsible police work is following the Nazi example. I pointed out that a cop contacting suspicious characters instead of staring at them, was probably not Nazi.
We often hear the jackbooted thug term. For extra credit, who was most famous for wearing jackboots?
Common Sense is the rule.
Cover up your face and expect to be questioned.
Throw out your genitals, expect to be questioned.
I am tired of the lawyer up of stupidity.
Stupid ass and so is his pretentious law...
