DURING the election Massive news media coverage of “the ebola threat to the USA”

AFTER the election: no massive news media coverage of ebola

so ebola threat , the great “epidemic” magically gone away? what happened? no the election magically got rid of the fake ebola stories.

wow many of you still believe the liberal news media. lol. did you notice it was CNN, CBS, ABC , NBC and local news stations etc. pushing this ebola lie? did you? do you understand who these "news" people are, the most evil most marxist liars ever that's who.

the news media is the threat to you , to our freedom to America to capitalism and to even an individual’s ability to make a living. not any ebola, global warming, bp oil “catastrhophe” (i was here), peak oil ,bird flu etc. , all imaginary hobgoblins the media terroizes the public to distract and so that they allow government to grow

and you still defenc cnn etc. lol. i can bet you that there will not any deaths in the USA from ebola in 2015. in contrast 40,000 Americans will die in 2015 from car accidents. millions will die from cancer, heart disease. and also there are 1.2 million people in the USA with HIV. how many with ebola . well the media says 1 or 2 but they are liars so you can go hide under the bed from ebola lol. the media is who you should fear not me who is exposing the media

You are gibbering that it doesn't exist. Please. There are a lot of dead people today who were not a year ago from this disease. The only thing that keeps it from being a problem there is that it is there. We aim to keep it that way as much as possible. There are currently some 1400 people being monitored in the US for Ebola, (note monitored, not treated--they are at risk for having the disease.

The outbreak has not burned out. It is the largest of its kind known to man (filovirus outbreak), and has exposed critical weaknesses in the medical establishment, in our will to close off travel from affected regions, and in our ability to handle it as a disease. One patient infected two health care workers here in the US, the patient died, the workers recovered due to novel treatments and excellent supportive care. One more patient who had been treated in Nebraska died of the disease.

Now you claim the media can build a story from nothing (and, indeed, they can), but they are lazy asses for the most part, parroting the AP feed. When AP stopped reporting on Ebola, so did the rest of the media.

What you don't seem to get is that they can bury a story by simply not reporting on it as well.

There is still news out there (scroll down for the latest links it is just not being reported.

Here is FR's own Ebola Surveillance Thread, with an abundance of links to stories after the election.

The American news feeds dried up just after the new czar was appointed--which I would bet was his job, because people were getting P.O.ed at the way the administration was dealing with the disease.
