It's common for plane crash victims to be naked, or in their underwear, when the plane has broken at high altitude. When the victim is falling loose clothing is ripped off their body.
This is evidence that the plane broke apart at a high altitude.

It’s not common to have some sort of catastrophic failure of the fuselage without an outside cause, such as colliding with another aircraft, being struck by a missile or a bomb exploding in the aircraft.

I guess I’ve seen too much Hollywood to think of that, James Bond never lost his tux while free falling without a parachute.
Either way it gave me hope at the time that the pilot was able to keep it somewhat level when they went in.

Those need to understand that these bodies are not skydivers, when falling from the sky they are basically rag dolls in the wind.
Clothes will be ripped off like you said.

Dad used to do some search and recovery work from time to time. He indicated that as the plane broke up at altitude and speed it peeled clothes off very efficiently. Laced up shoes came right off.
At this point I’m waiting on the recorders. They will tell the story.
