Teen suspect in custody, charged with capital murder in brutal death of Domino's pizza deliveryman

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama - Charges have been filed in the brutal beating death of Domino's pizza deliveryman Najeh Masaeid.

Birmingham police today announced charges against the young suspect who lives at the apartment complex where the 63-year-old Masaeid was slain. The killing happened Dec. 21 at District at the Summit apartments off of U.S. 280 behind the shopping mall.

Corey Arrington Jr., 17, is charged with capital murder during a robbery and robbery, said Birmingham homicide Sgt. John Tanks. Arrington is charged in the death of Masaeid and the November robbery of a Papa John's deliveryman.

BPD's Crime Reduction Team took Arrington into custody today at his apartment near the crime scene and he is still being interviewed by police. Bond for the robbery charge is set at $100,000 however there is a no bond for the capital murder charge. Court records don't show a previous criminal history for Arrington.

Police have said a small amount of cash was taken from Masaeid during the robbery and killing.

If you normalize the statistics to take into account the relative sizes of the populations, Here are the numbers that reflect the real magnitude of Black-on-White versus White-on-Black VIOLENT ASSAULT crime:

Furthermore, if you narrow the statistics shown above on violent assault (GENERAL VIOLENT ASSAULT) to a specific type of violent assault (IN THE CASE BELOW, VIOLENT AGGRAVATED ASSAULT) , the statistics that Black-on-White versus White-on-Black VIOLENT ASSAULT crime take on an entirely different magnitude:

When one looks at these statistics, one can only reach the same conclusion that Bill Whittle did in his video:
"Oh, there's an epidemic of racial violence in America, all right."

Bill Whittle further accurately states:
"Critics will say that I am using these statistics to justify the murder of Michael Brown. In all seriousness, the arrest of this 17 yo is part of the statistics that Obama and Holder quote, alleging discriminatory law enforcement against blacks. I guess they should have arrested a white or asian teen instead. That’s just how the flawed logic underlying race relation today works.

Holder has been evaluating FBI statistics by race. I can assure you they will change the way the statistics are kept. They will try to spin it. The truth is very ugly.
