I was in Manhattan over the weekend and definitely noticed less cops around and the local panhandlers and street con artists were already getting more aggressive.An army of Eric Garners are now out on the streets panhandling. This is what some here who were complaining about the Garner arrest wanted.
Now NYC has panhandlers again hassling people.

I worked in NYC before Giuliani, and the difference he made was amazing. I had thought it would take at least as long for de Blasio to undo the progress that has been made as it took Giuliani to make the progress.
Maybe not.
(If de Blasio warned his son about the police, he better start warning his son about NYC situational awareness soon.)
