U.S. Rep. Michael Grimm plans to resign, Fox News confirmed Monday, one week after the Staten Island congressman admitted to federal tax evasion.
Grimm, who was re-elected to a third term representing New York's 13th district in November, is expected to resign sometime this week.
Grimm, a Republican, pleaded guilty on Dec. 23 in federal court in Brooklyn to one count of aiding in the filing of a tax return

Why resign? Isn’t this a badge of honor for congress critters? Or is that just for Rats?
Being he admitted it I knew it was a Republican-e. A Democrat can cut off a head and be pictured doing it and would still lie about it.

No, the nightmare would be over if Boehner was resigning, even if Grimm was the one who forced him out.
He needs to have a chat with Al Sharpton and find out how to handle these types of annoyances.
