Where it concerns the Current Occupant in the White Hut, things are a little outta control now. Gasoline has fallen in price not because of the policies now endorsed and promulgated from the Oval Orifice, but in spite of them. The vast increase in the flow of crude oil from US-sourced petroleum fields, and the natural gas production, is because of technological breakthroughs in the practice known as “fracking”, greatly increasing the productivity of these resources. Also, Saudi Arabia is in an economic struggle with the Russian Federation, whom the Saudis consider to be an existential threat. The Russian dependency on petroleum as an export staple is seriously undermined.

Watching the antics of the Progressives in their scramble for CYA is a little like watching the Great and Might Wizard of Oz spinning the wheels and tugging at the levers, all the while insisting that people should “ Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.”

Definitely agree - all of Obama’s policies are/were in OPPOSITION to making gas cheaper for the consumer.

All of the increased production was accomplished on private land outside of his regime’s control.

Note that the Iranians are at least as big of an existential threat to the Saudis as the Russkies...unless Putin goes off his rocker when oil gets to $50/bbl. and tries to invade Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, I’m enjoying my $1.75 gas already, courtesy of Sam’s Club, the U.S. fracking industry and the Saudi Oil Ministry. Thanks, guys!!!

Oh, and lest I forget:

FUBO!

This whole pissing match between the Saudi's and Russia over "the pipeline" to feed Europe to me has a tangent player that could throw both of them for a loop (good!) and that is Israel. Have you been following or did you see they found another Natural Gas field off their coast? I have lost track of how many Trillions of Cubic feet they have.

They need to be a supplier to Europe as they are sane. We could be too with President Pence or Cruz, as they open up the sequestered lands for Fracking...
