What we are witnessing is the black's spiritual temper tantrum, after having realized they pissed their lives away imitating the rap-inspired thug culture: and now they realize that unless you make it big as a rapper or sports icon, it isn't going to pay the bills.

And it's all whitey's fault. Because, %uck it, someone has to pay. There is no way out of the nightmare they made, and that enrages them.

The black people I know are not like that at all, and most of the black people you meet even just casually, such as in a store, aren’t like that, either.

The problem is that black politicians for some reason were okay with white radical leftist academics holding up ghetto thug behavior and culture as the example of true blackness, so to speak. They did this for their own purposes, namely, because the criminal classes were always regarded by anarchists or Marxists as the “vanguard of the revolution.” But once Dem politicians realized that this image gave them power, they adopted it to the extent that the dysfunctional criminal class has become the image of blacks in both media and politics. And the fact that the purveyors of trash culture (most of them white media moguls) found that rap music and ghetto thug behavior sell put it over the top.

I believe you are absolutely right. If we could only find a way to channel that frustration in a positive direction it would help.
