They don’t even switch their feed to Sky News when there is a breaking story in Europe or the UK. News Corp has news stations all around the world like CNN all it would involve is a news director flipping a switch in the control room.
Was President Obama ‘on vacation’ in Hawaii the last time this happened? Just asking. I’m starting to think these people are being held captive somewhere, maybe sold to the Saudi’s as indentured servants.
Unfortunately, this flight, like MH370 this won’t end well. Praying for all the passengers aboard this flight..praying for a miracle
Unusual route requested? Sounds like hijacking.
Maybe a joint-op by CNN and Sony...??? Jeh will try to muscle in there, too, I figger...
Prayers.
CNN=it’s in the black hole.
Not another one!
Reported nationalities of those on board #QZ8501: 149 Indonesians, 3 Koreans, 1 Singaporean, 1 Briton, 1 Malaysian.
A reporter for CNN tweeted out that there was some thunderstorms and bad weather in the area, perhaps the pilot was trying to re-route out of that area because he saw it coming
Could be. The weather in the area was reported to be ok, maybe a chance of thunderstorms. A lot of bad things can happen quickly around thunderstorms.
It would be nice to know what was ‘unusual’ about the request.
It probably does not have enough fuel to go far.

Looks like less than 900 miles N/W to Singapore and relatively close to land compared to last search area.

The last tracking point for QZ8501 shows it at 750 ft instead of 23000 ft in heavy weather.
If I am not mistaken an Adam Air B-737 went missing in Indonesia around this time seven years ago. Just completely disappeared as I recall. Unfortunately aviation safety standards in Indonesia are simply not of the highest standard.
You’re right. Very strange that he’s in Hawaii just like last time Indonesian muslimes hijacked a plane.
The Airbus 320-200 had 155 passengers and crew on board, another Indonesian Transport official said.
Mustofa said the plane had asked for an unusual route before it lost contact.
The flight had been due in Singapore at 8:30 a.m. Singapore time (0030 GMT).
