Good evening, ML!

A Blessed Lord's Day to you!

As you know, the sacrifice of the Holy Innocents resonates deeply with me. Did not know that about St. Jerome.

We have a bunch of holy innocents in our own contemporary time.

I really like St. Jerome. Latin was the “Vulgate’, or the language of the common people. By his translating of the Scriptures into Latin, he was giving it directly to US!

Now, Latin is no longer commonly used, except in Medicine, Law, and Religion, but the idea of translating God’s Word into contemporary languages continues to this day.

I have about 8 different translations which I rotate through.
