Unfortunately, the lunatic fringe seems to becoming more mainstream all the time, the loons who blather about "glacier monkeys," who want to kill all white people, who characterize themselves as godlike and incapable of evil...I've been reading the loony fringe, and what they are selling is a near perfect analogue of Nazism.

Hate is a participatory emotion--you have to work at it. The black supremacist, kill all the white people crowd display a frightening intensity of hatred. I did not understand how someone could walk up to a stranger on a civilized street and brutally kill them just because they had less melanin until I read the seething thoughts of Welsing and her true believers.
