The risk of being raped in Sweden during one’s lifetime is one out of four

I suspect this statistic is just about as accurate as the identical one for college students in America.

Sweden is renowned in Europe for having the most astonishingly loose definition of "rape."

FWIW, similar statistics for the US as a whole are reported at one in five lifetime risk.

There was a time when “rape” and “sexual assault” were different. “Sexual assault” could range from coping a feel (even accidently) on up. Even commenting that a woman has nice boobs is considered sexual assault.
Now everything is lumped together.
