Same here. Except for me, I’m not too sure this will be the last holiday I spend this way. I hope so, though.
Just hub and I...and 2 kitty’s and doggie...I have allowed my son (now 44) to have a real family Christmas for 30+ years)... vowed to never make him experience what I did as child of divorced parents and separated from grandparents by idiot mother...this year I may tell him the story.
