She probably also tells you, "abb, if you pee outside, you'll get a sty in your eye", or, "if you keep looking at those girlie magazines, you'll get hairy palms and go blind". hehehe.
Or this!

Remember when NJ came out with a law saying diners were not allowed to serve sunny side up eggs? That didn’t last very long.
Words fail me, which is good, otherwise I’d love to invite the nanny-staters to: 1. Have intimate sexual relations with themselves and then: 2. Off themselves to get ‘em out of our lives forever.
Mine too. I never saw any worms either. But then I am an obedient daughter and never ate the cookie dough.
We are constantly warned about stuff like this, but they don’t seem to be that worried about some other things that may be a lot more serious. Our administration doesn’t seem to want to deal with the real hard issues of the day,so I guess they think warnings like this will divert our attention. I’d guess it ain’t working.
My grandmother used to tell me not to eat raw cookie dough.
I don’t need the government ragging on me either.
I tell them both to be quiet. They are not my mother.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm raw cookie dough and vino......
RE: your no. 2—I think they should eat excrement first, then off themselves.
There’s nothing more delicious than that slice-and-bake cookie dough, raw. Can’t they do whatever they do to the cookie dough in ice cream, so we can eat it?
Ping.
cookie dough ruins ice cream
there's always a chance but local freerange eggs are the lowest risk. it is more common in a factory farm with chickens indoors in close quarters
This is Truly amazing...
Yours truly, Chef C210n just finished making a BIG chocolate mousse, now the chocolate gold is cooling in the fridge for serving tonight. Grabbed the almost-but-not-quite-empty 12-quart bowl I mixed everything in, chocolate mixture with 5 egg yolks, egg white mixture - 8 eggs, and just plucked out of FR the first article that looked interesting... and it happened to be this one!
I think it was more "not quite" than it was "almost" empty... but it's empty now!
Guess I can’t have a raw egg in my beer this morning. Shucks!
OK, confession time. I do eat raw cookie dough. I made about 100 cookies this season. The batter for the sunken kisses cookies not so great since I’m not too fond of peanut butter. The oatmeal cranberry cookie dough is the best followed closely by the chocolate chip cookie dough. However, DO NOT refrigerate the eggs right up until you make the cookies. And this is important. All ingredients must be room temp but especially the butter and eggs. Also, eggs will keep without refrigeration up to a week but I guess the risk of salmonella increases but I do know this - if the egg turns and you crack it open, you will know. In fact, you will want to leave the room immediately. But I have camped in the tropics without refrigeration and used eggs that are several days away from the chicken. Still good and did not get sick. Turkey and any other poultry however, be very careful. Wash your hands and countertops and utensils between every step.
I guess they would have a coronary eclipse if they knew I eat my eggs sunny side up.
It’s a crisis!
Hard boil the eggs first, then mix them in the dough. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
Slice it, then freeze it before eating. Then it's even more delicious.
