The outcome for Christians in Iraq is the main reason I lost confidence in Bush. He was determined to go to war but did little to protect the Christian population which have been decimated by our invasion of Iraq. Protecting Christian minorities should have been an express part of the war plan from the start. It never seemed to even become an afterthought.
Satan realizes his days are numbered and all the demonic forces are in high gear. These Christians who have been tortured and martyred for the cause of Christ are the true winners. God will richly reward them. Woe to those who stand by and idly do nothing to help these people. Our nation is guilty. Our nation is in trouble.
On 09/12/2001, we needed a president who could step out, and "call islam the insane death cult and political terrorist movement that it is; declare that the USA and other civilized nations would not now, nor ever, recognize islam as a religion of any sort; and that islam will be wiped off the face of the earth."
We didn't have any such leadership, and GWB stepped out and condemned human civilization to several more generations, perhaps centuries, of muslim terrorism with his "religion of peace" nonsense.
Sadaam kept the Sunnis, Shias and Christians from killing each other.
When we deposed Hussein we should have known that infighting would start and the Christians would be killed by both Sunnis and Shia Muslims.
Bush assured us Islam is a religion of peace. - Tom
Bush had success. It was Obama who did the damage by withdrawing troops too early.
