They do have the right to petition the gubment, but not at the expense of interfering with other citizens right to move about. (ie- block bridges and streets)

They have a right to common sense. They don't seem to use it.

Besides, their point is to FORCE the police to use violence against the protesters.

What do you do when their freedom of expression infringes on the rights and freedoms of others? Such as the right to free travel and to quiet enjoyment of one’s living life and one’s property?
Their freedom ends there.

SCOTUS has held that there is a proper time, place, and manner of free speech. And, that line is not hard to see.
