But if they are peaceful, they should not be arrested.

How's that rainbow and unicorn thingy working out for you?

I am not and have not defended anyone, but have defended the right of people to peacefully protest.

So long as they’re non-violent, I don’t have a problem with their being able to protest.

I have a big problem with it. Whether they're "nonviolent" of not, they SHOULDN'T be allowed to block streets, bridges, or entry to places of business. They SHOULD be required to obtain a permit for a formal protest and the protest should be confined to a pre-determined area where they do not infringe on the rights of people to go about their daily business.

They should NOT be allowed to harass law abiding citizens or shout incendiary comments like "What do we want - dead cops."

The hooligan anarchists are deliberately trying to provoke confrontations, both from law enforcement or from normal citizens who are sick of their crap.

This is a ticking time bomb and if DeBlasio doesn't wise up, his city going to descend rapidly into chaos.

And there you have it:

Selective enforcement of the law breeds anarchy.

No rainbows.

Just the First Amendment.

And that amendment covers even those I disagree with of are exercising their rights in poor taste.

Peacefully protest? Like in what do we want.......dead cops! Be assured, the same crowd tonight are the ones that instigated the murder of two policemen.

When they begin to break laws they should be arrested.

I am simply not supportive of a government that arrests people because they might break a law.

"However, I did ask if you could cite a causation between Ritalin and school schoolings."

School schooling doesn't appear to be happening now as much as it did in the 50's.

However, I did ask if you could cite a causation between Ritalin and school schoolings.

And I did, and you called it "junk science"...

You are Naïve, my FRiend to think that our children have not been drugged to the max just for being children.

Ritalin, or Prozac, or whatever other psychotropic drug, it affects behavior and has led to much of America's woes.

We can agree to disagree, but don't discount the facts.

Can’t disagree with anything you’ve posted.

My comments before are under the assumption that they have a permit. They typically come from the chief executive’s office which is why I wouldn’t be surprised if they have one.

Fox interviewed one of tonight’s “protesters”, she rattled on with nonsense and ended with, “every 28 hours a black boy is murdered by a cop.” Seriously, where do they get this crap?

The protests have become boring

It would be helpful if they had a worthy cause.
