He made the place respectable. Even the leftist there could see that. Did some goofy stuff, but darn if he wasn’t the most sane mayor that town has had for the past 30 years.

But it seems like when you look at the people before and after him, it’s almost divine intervention that he even won. Especially after 9-11. Can you imagine if a nut like this current guy was in charge?
