If he resigns, he is succeeded by the NYC Public Advocate (no, I'm not kidding), who at the moment is Letitia James, a radical nutjob who ran on the Working Families Party line ("Working Families" means families where no one is working, or has worked in several generations).

The Working Families Party is a lineal descendant of the New Party, which YOUR VERY OWN Barack Hussein Obama was a member of before he joined the Democrat Party to further his ambitions.
