This reminds me of when I visited a friend during the late 1960s and he had large black garbage bags full of marijuana all over the house and said that I could take all that I wanted, for free.

Hundreds of pounds, free for the taking.

I know a guy that found a cave full in Baja. Musta been abandoned by smugglers. He said it was past being potent but made for a good beach bonfire.

Ah, the 1960’s, when hitchhikers would give you a handful of joints to thank you for the ride, or when you visited someone they wouldn’t let you leave without trying their stash. Anyway, I remember cops freely taking goods from friends when we got stopped, they dumped it in their patrol car trunk, and sent us on our way - we knew that no way were they going to turn it in to anyone.
