One of my favorite childhood comic book super heroes was the lesser known Iron Munro
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Munro
“Iron Munro is a fictional superhero, who first appeared in Shadow Comics #1 (June 1940), published by Street & Smith. He is loosely based on Aarn Munro, the hero of a series of short stories written by John W. Campbell in the 1930s.”

Mine hearkens ‘way back to the old Usenet groups and was taken from a girl Jimmy Buffett was in love with. (See, “Presents to Send You”.) Also, because I used to have a ragtop Mustang 5.0 and had a lead foot, that Darkwing104 would tease me about. I have DW to thank for introducing me to FR — I lurked for some years before signing up, but when I finally did, I just kept the same nick.

People call me Dee Dee and I own a labradoodle. Dee Dee, DoodleDog, it fit. The “Dawg” part came because, believe it or not, someone used DoodleDog as a screen name.

My nickname has always been Randy. My last name came from my father who I never met.

I flew as DustOff 45 in 1968, II Corp. RVN, 1500+ sorties, 2000+ patients, lots of AirMedals, one DFC. One tremendous year.

A long, long, time ago. In land that is far away. I had two CB handles. One was darkwolf; I kept in my first email address. Later when I changed services it was not available. So I took it and one of my favorite books (The Number of the Beast by Heinlein) and combined them. I figured very few people would use this as a screen name so I could use it if darkwolf was not available on a board.
