Thanks for you Service FRiend!
We don’t have much snow on the ground, we had a warming last week so a lot of it melted.
Hard to believe it is almost Christmas, I have been in the sticks for a year now. It is not so bad as long as I can get off the porch at least once a week. LOL
Hee - yeah it will. It does it to our cats, too, when they’re outside. Ours haven’t wanted to spend much time out lately and when they come in, they’re fluffed up.
Cool that you’ve gotten a knee brace. I hope it does the trick and makes getting around a lot easier.
When I first joined FR, back in January ‘98, I used my initials “reg”. Unfortunately, the search engine for self search used substrings, so I would get results for “greg”, “registered”, “regular army”, etc. So, in 2k, I appended my birthyear to my FReeper name.
Very cool for you!
Jimmy Swaggart followed me for a while. LOL! Have no idea why. He hasn’t hit on me yet, either. ;) He’s gone now. Guess he didn’t care for my conservative rants on twitter. :)
Hey, you folks have a wonderful Christmas. Say hello to Aunt Clara if you think she’ll remember me.
*HUGS*
Give the little pot belly a grunt from me. LOL
Wow....she’s aliiiiiiive!!!
(((hugs)))
How are the kitties?
I noticed there was a lot of melting but the pond is still mostly frozen over. Been fun watching the geese and ducks skating around.
Where has the year gone? Christmas right around the corner already?
Sorry I don't have it in mp3 format. :(
I’ll pass your hello to Aunt Clara. I’ve mentioned you a few times and she does seem to remember you. Long-term memory isn’t too bad but forget short-term memory. She’ll be 98 next week so she has a legitimate excuse.
I’ll pass along the “grunt” to Wilbur when I feed him tomorrow. LOL!
Hi LUV! Yes, it is aliiiiiiive. :-)
Kittes are doing well. We’ve lost a few and gained others. Current “herd” stands at 37.
Everything going well with you and yours?
*HUGZ*
My heavens Clara will be 98, wow she is amazing.
Du, have you watched the movie The Red Tent?? Outstanding IMHO.
It’s on Lifetime and we have Dish here.
Take care now- I will get off my lazy seat and write more often. HUGS
Fan of Godzilla movies as a kid.
I’ll answer, then read the ones before me.
Part of my name is from the town my family and I live... the rest is sort of an homage to “Havana Daydreaming” (Jimmy Buffet), as if I’m not at home, I’m daydreaming of being home with my beautiful kids (pre-teen/teenage as they are).
Oh! He’s Jeff Russell! I have an mp3 of “Tapestry of Love”. It’s on heavy rotation on my Windows Media Player.
Quote from my profile.
So what does Jotmo mean?
I dont have a clue.
A friend from my church during my youth gave me that name when I was playing drums for his band.
I sure hope it was nothing rude.
It took 4 tries to get my local rag to post my comments. Finally I confronted the editor and asked her to show me the posting rules I was violating.
She couldn’t do it.
Comment Not Approved was born!
I’ve been a conservative thorn in their sides ever since.
Once they changed my name to Comment Approved! I was not amused and called them on it.
They still “overlook” my comments from time to time but I call them on it and they eventually post them.
Liberals in media ... a pox on them all!
Yes, she seems determined to make it to 100. Just might do it!
We had DISH for years but when our satellite ISP screwed us this summer, we ditched it and DISH and went to Comcast. Haven’t seen The Red Tent since I don’t watch Lifetime.
My inbox is always open in one Window when I’m on the ‘puter. Ya know where to find me. :-)
No kidding, I've had similar experiences over the years...
I moved to Florida from Connecticut... so that is why I’m ExCTCitizen.
