Shows the stupidity of people. I wouldn’t be stocking up on plants, furniture, and big screens. I’d be filling my garage full of staples. shaking my head

If money is going to lose its value, it makes sense to purchase big-ticket items before it does. Quality and availability of items can also be an issue when an economy tanks.

If this were to happen here, I'd make any major purchases that I'd planned to put off for a few years.

I suspect its global at this point that most people who have the ability to do so are already stocked up on the necessities.
