Russia is collapsing
so are many other countries in Europe, Venezuela, in Asia
the USA will also collapse. we already see deflation and the gas price is in a free fall.
Ok. Maybe I'm naive and giving Obama too much credit for this theory...
Is it possible this is a designed retaliation by the U.S. over the Ukraine invasion and massive public support in Russia for Putin? The U.S. knowing we might be able to better withstand a rapid drop in gas prices better than Russia would? Sort of like Reagan outspending the USSR during the cold war?
I suppose I'm giving Obama too much credit for this. But it's a thought that's been in the back of my mind for a while. And something that I thought about when we were trying to figure out how to effectively sanction Russia after Crimea.

no actually Obama conspired with Saudi Arabi to destroy USA states like texas , louisiana , n dakota, etc., that are oil producing conservative states, and to destroy the American domestic oil industry
obama is the enemy of America and Americans

By the multitude of ways this regime has shown its prowess on the world stage over the past six years...not possible.

Assume the lowering tide of the global economy sinks all ships. Do you really think most of the US population will have better survival skills than most of the Russian population has?
Keep in mind that Russia has a small population for its size, and most of it is integrated into the economy and society. Besides that, living through economic hard times is not that far in their pasts.
This is unchartered territory. WW3 is a global economic war, with the battles being fought as terrorist attacks. Besides economic chaos, there's the threat of epidemic disease going global, millions of people in refugee camps, and huge segments of the global population unproductive.
Who stands to benefit? Saudi Arabia? Germany? There's stuff going on we can't even begin to understand.
