I asked this on Twitter and naturally 50 people instantly responded SMOD. Sorry, were not that lucky. With Jeb in the race, Christie very likely to get in, and Romney and Rubio now likely to pass, the field of loud-and-proud centrists appears to be set at two. And since the donor class loves centrists and the donor class tends to get its way in presidential primaries, that means one of these two guys is likely to be nominee. If it comes to that, whom do you prefer? And before you say Ill stay home, let me note: (1) conservatives say that every time a moderate lands the nomination and every time they end up turning out for him in the general, and (2) Im not asking whether youll vote for either of them. Im asking who youd rather see as president. Jeb, right? Bush has been louder than Christie has in pushing immigration reform but well all be shocked if Christie is any less of a RINO on amnesty in practice than Jeb is. Meanwhile, Jeb at least is well regarded by the NRA; Christies relationship with the NRA is more contentious. But then, if youre worried about electability, Christie has none of the baggage that comes with the Bush name. And Ben Shapiro is right that Jeb is more closely identified with amnesty among voters who pay attention, even if he and Christie doubtless share many of the same positions on the issue:

I would rather have Mittens than the Fat man or Jebster. Can’t we do better than this? The Doctor looks better and better—(I would rather have someone who was a Governor than a man who would need to be trained in office) That or a Gerneral or big businessman (Like The Donald or Petraus)
I’ve been voting Palin since 2008. I see no reason to change given those two for nominee.
Best thing to happen is to have Bush, Christie, Romney, Rubio, and Ryan in the race.
Conservatives lost in the past because there were too many of them and they divided the vote, letting the McCains, Romneys and Doles eke out a plurality.
This time, let the RINOs divide the RINO vote, and one or two real conservatives come out on top.
Remember, real conservatives win - Reagan, Bush 41 as Reagan’s third term until he came out of the RINO closet in 91.
RINOs lose.
It’s that simple.
I’d write-in Ted Cruz.
I’d vote third party.
Jeb or Christie?
I’d vote for who ever the libertarians are running.
Doesn’t matter which one. They’d both lose. See the long list of RINO Hindenburgs.
If those are seriously our only choices, I will vote for Jeb Bush. Christie? I think he is too liberal. Jeb is very anti-abortion which is my number one issue and most important issue.
Oh my....not choices I would want to have to see on a ballot. But the sad thing is... I could see a Bush/Christie or a Christie/Bush as the ticket the RINO elite establishment wing of the R party go for.
Bleak times.
Did Terri Shiavo make an endorsement yet
She is sitting next to Jesus up in Heaven. I think she is not thinking out the United States any longer. She is in extreme glee. That is what Heaven is like.
“write-in Ted Cruz.”
That’s what I’m doing. Does every state allow write-ins?
My tagline makes my choice easy.
Would I rather have Ebola and my insurance is Obamacare, or have stage 4 pancreatic cancer and my doctor is an affirmative action hire? Some hypotheticals present alternatives so bad that the choice is meaningless.
If we don’t get a real conservative in 2016, one who will repeal Obama’s legacy, America has no chance of survival as a free country. It doesn’t matter whether we die quick like the tongue of a snake, or slower than molasses in January - those are the options if it’s Christie or Bush, and America will be just as dead either way.
