In the most shocking development yet, the Sony attackers have threatened a 9/11-like attack on movie theaters that screen Seth Rogen and James Francos North Korean comedy The Interview.
They also released the promised Christmas gift of files. The contents of the files are unknown but its called Michael Lynton, who is the CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment.
The world will be full of fear, the message reads. Remember the 11th of September 2001. We recommend you to keep yourself distant from the places at that time. (If your house is nearby, youd better leave.) Whatever comes in the coming days is called by the greed of Sony Pictures Entertainment

I don’t think it is from the get go, some of the stuff released is too damaging to be part of a strictly PR ploy, but some of the actions just smell too highly of Sony trying to use it to their advantage.
What I find interesting is they are pretty much pulling the movie at this point, yet the ads are still running... I would think pulling the ad buy would be the first thing you would do if you aren’t going to release it.
Nope.
What have we seen? "Damaging" emails exposing liberal hypocrisy/racism. That's about it.
This is all a ruse. There's no such thing as "bad publicity."
One last thing: How can anyone in their right mind consider that whack-job Kim Jung Un in North Korea a serious "9-11 like" threat?

Apparently, The Interview is going to stream live on you tube(Christmas Day when everybody’s busy.)
