Sorry, but that's just not true. There had been riots in Egypt and elsewhere over the clips prior to the attack at Benghazi.
The lie was in associating the attack in Libya with the riots elsewhere.
Well, you are right. However, it is the AP we are talking about here and in this case, the ‘effect’ preceded the ‘cause’. One other thing. I think that there was a mad scramble in the WH working to cover up Clinton’s ineptness in this (more importantly, any fall back on Obama from it), and they grabbed the first straw they could.
