Several people have been taken hostage by at least one armed man at a Lindt cafe in the centre of Sydney.
No they did not. There is a process of written evaluation and background check for you to purchase a gun in Austrailia. Please, I hate to tell you this, but please don’t throw around the same lies as the left does, it is annoying as can be.
Boehner already did that.
They do the same for a lot of non-U.S. nations, such as Germany, where a cousin of mine actually goes hunting and does target practice with a German variation of the AR-15. If Freepers would just check their claims, they would sound more credible.
No problem if Australia is under attack by Islamofascists.
The citizens can just grab their AKs and ARs and 45’s and shotguns and then....
oh wait.
Never mind.
they just cut the video feed....and put up a message saying
“This video is not available to users in your location.”
I tired using STEALTH BROWSING and got the same message.
and hand out a few more basic rifles to my friends too.
There are plenty of guns in private hands in Australia.

Even still, home invasions and the rate of torture of homeowners by those home invaders has skyrocketed.
Wait, that looks like a semi-auto long gun. I thought they were banned.
Oh, only the government agents can have and use them...
...because we all know that those in government are always good people and better than everyone else.
He’s hung up on the hacking of Sony.
You know, his first love is Hollywood.
Everything else after that is just filler.
Oh good.
I’m glad someone finally came to the defense of these Islamofascist terrorists.
Now we can feel “empathy” for them and maybe, just maybe, Mrs. Bill “I sold missile-guidance technology to the ChiComs” Clinton will hate us just a little less.
Calm down.
There are plenty of reports and videos on youtube talking about the extent of the gun ban and the spike in crime since the ban.
Now, let’s face it, your government didn’t exactly make it easier for Australians to own all types of firearms, did they?
No, they enacted the same type of legislation at the federal level that the leftist anti-gunners in this country are enacting at the state level and want to enact at the national level.
And of course, our experience is that, once they get an inch, they take the next yard.
I missed that part. Who came to the muzzies defense?
If the damn government had not DISARMED AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS we wouldn’t have this problem now, would we?
Yes, and a lot of them are dishonest and misleading, rather than accurate.
Now, lets face it, your government didnt exactly make it easier for Australians to own all types of firearms, did they?
No, but that is not the same thing as a ban. It's a hell of a long way from a ban. And the problem is the misinformation leads to a lot of people thinking it's harder to get a licence than it actually is, so they don't bother trying.
The misinformation is making us even less safe.
And of course, our experience is that, once they get an inch, they take the next yard.
That can happen - but our laws are actually being relaxed over time more than they are being made tighter. It's easier now than it was ten years ago - but still harder than it was twenty years ago.
Canadian government has made a statement of support for Australia. Nothing from the US yet AFAIK.
Harper=Abbott ally
0 not so much plus its Sunday night here....Football game is on
They are decent, I’d say they’re almost as good as JTF2, but far better than any seal. Delta lads are good too, just not as highly tuned as the commonwealth counter parts.
I hope this situation has a happy ending. This is disturbing to say the least. We all knew this was coming though. The last intelligence briefing I had was talking about Beslan Russia being a dress rehersal
I didn't hand any of my own in, but I took in some for an elderly neighbour. He could have kept them, but he no longer used them and he preferred the cash (selling firearms was complex for a private person, so it was hard to get a fair price - the buy back made that possible for once)
