All I know is the letting out of some of the hostages is a good sign...but they are not done yet...it gets testy as it goes now...as he’s armed.
Australian police are seemingly very calm about this as they speak....and don’t seem to let the reporters rile them
Sometimes those they let go are those needing medical attention or have health issues....that’s generally so in hostage situations.
Maybe it was the distortion through the window, but the man I saw in the window looked pretty old for a terrorist, FWIW.
