Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said the House Republicans who passed $1 trillion-plus funding bill late Thursday flipped American voters the bird.
Its baffling really, Palin said in an interview with Breitbart News on Friday. The Republican Leadership in the House just flipped American voters the bird by sidelining the new Congress we just elected.
Palins criticisms come the morning after the House passed a spending bill by a 219-206 vote. While the bill will keep the government open for another year, Palin and other conservatives are not happy that the legislation will fund President Barack Obamas executive action on immigration and the Affordable Care Act or as Palin calls it, the mother-of-all unfunded mandates.
It stinks to high heaven, Palin said of the bill. Did arrogant politicians not get the memo that Obamas agenda was decisively defeated in last months historic midterm landslide?
She continued, Good Lord, America said loud and clear, not just no, but hell no to Obamas failed policies.
Palin said she hopes that the 162 Republicans who backed the bill face backlash and called this an example of the GOP establishment campaigning one way and then governing another.
Its quite nauseating, she said. They promised they would do everything in their power to stop Obamas executive amnesty I heard their darn campaign speeches promising to do so! and yet when they have the power to do so (power that we the voters just gave them) they tacitly endorse Obamas failed agenda.

Boehner should lose his position.
But since he won’t, ....well, what do you want me to say?
Ok by me.
We need new house and senate leadership
That would be a great start, but we’ve needed that for a long time.
You sure this is the same bill??????
True but we have no power. Our only option left that can actually affect change is revolution. However, that is not viable due to numbers. People are too comfortable and won’t give that up. And why should they, any thing that came out of it would just evolve back into what we have today. Look back at all the poor souls who gave their lives for this country. In the end, what was it for. They lost everything. They are dead.
They missed out on all they joy love and excitement of life to instead serve as cannon fodder for these bastard oligarchs. Don’t let you or your children be used by them anymore. Avoid military service. Go to another more free country where you can experience life instead of ending up in a dark cold hole all alone. The USA is not worth fighting for. Its over.

Governor Sarah Palin has responded to the passage of the CR-Omnibus spending bill in an interview with Stephen K. Bannon, the Executive Chairman of Breitbart News:
1. What do you think of Speaker Boehner having President Obama whip votes from the White House in order to pass this bill?
It stinks to high heaven. Did arrogant politicians not get the memo that Obamas agenda was decisively defeated in last months historic midterm landslide? Good Lord, America said loud and clear not just no but hell no to Obamas failed policies. Americans who pay attention said absolutely no to Obamas amnesty for illegal aliens.
We also said no to the mother-of-all unfunded mandates, Obamacare, and voters believed promises that they would ratchet down the $18 trillion debt. Well, our bad for apathetically trusting politicians. No, on second thought, its not our bad. Some of us warned and worked hard to elect candidates who would buck the status quo. Many conscientious Americans did all they could to open the eyes of low-information voters. It was tough going up against Obamas lapdogs in the media and the power liberals have to play their politics of personal destruction against commonsense conservatives.
But really how out-of-touch do these politicians have to be to misunderstand our recent mandate to stop Barack Obamas fundamental transformation of the greatest nation on earth?
2. Only 162 Republicans voted for this billa bill that will take decision making away from a Republican controlled Congress in 4 weeksdoes that strike you as outrageous?
Its baffling really. The Republican Leadership in the House just flipped American voters the bird by sidelining the new Congress we just elected. I want the names of all 162 yahoos who would squander the opportunity to respect the will of the people and get America on the right track. Please print their names so we can ask them, What the heck are you thinking?!
And thank you to the 67 House Republicans who did vote no. Lets remind everyone of their names also.
3. Do you believe that the 162 Republicans that voted for the bill will face a backlash by conservatives?
Hope so! Ill do my part and I call upon every citizen to do their civic duty to save our country. Its easy; understand RINO season opens soon and dont hold back.
4. Do you believe that Speaker Boehner working with President Obama effectively tried to nullify the sweeping Republican victory in the 2014 mid-terms?
Thats the result thus far, so yes. This is an example of the GOP establishment campaigning one way and then governing another. Its quite nauseating. They promised they would do everything in their power to stop Obamas executive amnesty I heard their darn campaign speeches promising to do so! and yet when they have the power to do so (power that we the voters just gave them) they tacitly endorse Obamas failed agenda. Theyre shining that boot that liberals have on the neck of our economy. Theyre carrying Barack Obamas water even more so than Nancy Pelosi if you can believe it.
5. Do you think John Boehner should be re-elected Speaker of the House given his actions over the pass few days?
Constitutional conservatives who understand governments balance of power and the grave danger in Obamas lawlessness, and those of us who want smart and principled leadership, should be perplexed and disappointed if stale leadership is re-elected, considering that the midterm election was all about the status quo has got to go. Its time for new energy and steel-spined commitment to stop Obamas bizarre behavior against this country! Surely there are more of us than not who know that our Founders memory, our vets, and our children deserve better that what were underneath today. Keep the faith that there are more of us than there are of them who think broken campaign promises and a broken government are just dandy. (courtesy Breitbart News)
The Governor also made the interview available on her Facebook account.
And... she’s a “quitter”.. do I need the sarcasm tag? (according to some on this very site as well)
Wrong Deathtomarxists breath. Those of us who have fought for this country do not agree and will never, never, never, give up.
Be a shame if their Christmas lights shorted out and started a fire.../s
“If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to. This is the last stand on Earth.”
-RONALD REAGAN
I’d advise you pick yourself off the floor. No nation is recruiting quitters.
If the new GOP Congress doesn’t get rid of Boehner and McConnell as leaders before 2016, they don’t deserve to be in Congress after 2016.
Except the US? Were the LEGAL immigrants who built this nation “quitters” because they left their native land to come here?
That was good. And an accurate summary of how the gop wing of the uniparty sees the world. Plus it was funny, and that’s becoming a requirement for me to pay attention any more.
The indifference is strong in this one, obi-wan.
I agree with you... I have not liked the leadership in a long time
IN-9th Todd Young and IN-6th Luke Messer Plus Sen. Dan Coates all voted for that rotten bill. All sold us out. Will remember them in 2016.
They left some place worse to come to someplace great.
Leave here and there is no better place. And if the best place we’ve got isnt worth fighting for, then what good would anyone be to wherever they ran to?
What do they get in return?
(1)Campaign Funding from big donors and RNC Technical Help
(2)Pork for their pet projects
(3)The inside track on the lobbyist deals that make ALL three-term Congressmen multi-millionaires. (On Wall Street it's called "Insider Trading")
(4)Plum Committee Assignments, better offices, more staff
(5) Contracts for companies run by their associates and especially relatives.
(6) "Jobs" and "Consulting Contracts" for friends, girlfriends, contributors, their girlfriends, relatives ... even their girlfriends. This influence runs downhill from the federal government, through the states, and even unto counties and cities. This goes as far as the Conyers Auto Dealership Empire (brother), Jesse Jackson's Beer Distributorship, etc. etc. etc.
"Republicans?" Sometimes a bit classier, but the same inside deals. Check out the "Hatch Empire." The "McConnell Fortune."
Need more? How about the "Campaign Fund Left-Over" trick? Every Congressman uses it. Donated funds, and even matching funds supplied by the government: any leftovers after the campaign is over belong to the candidates who take considerable care to not spend them. John Kerry creamed about $20 million! Even Pat Buchanan's laughable "campaign" (with Ms. Fulana as VP, remember?) netted him about $9 Million, thanks to his sister's adroit management. Unspent election funds? Campaign over? Could be yours, all yours!
For this kind of power and riches, even Mitch McConnell and his fellow geriatric Thad Cochran, are surely willing to mouth a few "conservative" clichés. Now, it may well be that this particular jig is up ... maybe. But all that means is that these very rich and powerful fellows will work all the harder to make their last years in office all the more lucrative! Get themselves set up for life in the dreaded private sector, etc. Do not think they are going to roll over and die just because we are angry with them.
