Ah Georgie Will says the Torture report was good for America. The perfect GOP response to keep his Dem friends happy. We need to coddle terrorists like ISIS so they will love us.

Ted was speaking out against this bill...

I know, I know.

I want him on FNC, not fake "torture" for mass-murderers.

Now Georgie wants us to make our own prisons more friendly and do away with solitary. Wonder who those Dems and Georgie feel about torturing Tea Partiers with the IRS?

Now Georgie is throwing Cruz under the bus. After this week it wouldn’t be a third Party it would be a second.

Couldn't agree more. Problem is,IMHO, big oil goes their own way and its sometimes led by profits.I have a friend who advises some of the bigger players. He tells me fracking costs start at $45. If the real number is $30 that's really good news for us here in the states. You are talking sub $2.00 gas.
I'm surprised that no one has brought up the straits of Hormuz yet......
IMHO, zero has been prepping us to let the worst of the terror types take over security in the mid-east. If that happens forget cheap oil.

A little reminder to the GOPe

We the Conservatives created the current majorities for the Republicans in the House and the Senate.

The majorities that you lost by being the timid rollover party that stood for nothing and could articulate nothing because you have no real platform other than staying in your offices. You have no convictions. You have no courage or do you really?

You had continued to lose election after election until you became the minority party. It reminds me of the definition of insanity that is, to do the same thing repeatedly and expect a different result, or maybe that is what you wanted after all.

You have allowed and assisted efforts that have led our beloved Country to be degraded diplomatically, militarily and economically.

Our allies no longer trust us. Our adversaries no longer fear us. Other countries can no longer count on us to be there when needed. You have left a void to be filled by our adversaries.

You sit and enjoy the high honors, accolades and perks bestowed upon you by your high dollar donors after we put you into your offices.

If you don't abide by and promote what your employers want you to do then you will be fired and your high dollar donors will not give a wit about whatever may happen to you.

So roll over and openly join the opposition to which many of you may already covertly belong or do your job and fight for us.

IMPORTANT!!!

I am curious to know about how your Congressman voted.

Mine is Martha Roby, 2nd CD of Alabama. She won her seat 4 years ago by glomming on to the TEA party and has steadily moved towards the RINO camp. I had numerous conversations with her about this vote. I’ll say that by far, her/my district is VERY conservative/Pro TEA Party. In any case, I was not the only constituent begging her not to vote for this monstrousity... She did anyway.

She sent me a letter telling me how anti-Amnesty she was; but THAT was only one of the MANY reasons I was against the bill and she basically just blew off my concerns. I should note I last contacted her on the 10th and she sent me this letter that same day, so I know she heard my concerns...

To that end, I will oppose her in the primary any way I can short of running myself. I will not stop talking, writing, phoning in local talk radio, etc., about her betrayal of conservatism!

She chose to support a 1000+ page bill, remade by the RINO leadership at the last minute, and there’s NO WAY she could have actually read the bill and understood what it did in the short period of time from the rewrite to final vote. That goes for all and any who voted for it.

The House phone switchboard manager has already admitted that the phones calls were so heavy it brought down the switchboard several times on the 10th and 11th. What this tells me is that concerned constituents where dead set AGAINST this bill, but these RINOs trusted the leadership over their own people.

Shameful!

They’ve got to go!!!!

How did your Congressman vote, and what do you think you can do to defeat him/her if they voted aye?

Great post. Rush may have stood up for Cruz with or without knowing it. He pointed out that how shutting down the govt. had no repercussions for our side at all.We still won big.

I should rephrase that that the perceived shutting down of the govt. since zero shut it down not our side but the dbm had their way.

Cruz is the one behind whom we coalesce. The weekend budget kerkuffle produced lots of negative stories about Cruz, but the comments in all those stories were very supportive of Cruz standing up and fighting. It was about 30 to 1, by my estimations. Cruz has lots of support. RINO's have none.

Agree 100%. I also think the Capitol s/b lines were melted, in favor of Cruz...and (twitter) tweets appeared, overwhelmingly, in favor of Cruz.

Can you imagine an R primary debate between Jeb Bush and Ted Cruz ? I can. Jeb would want to change his party affiliation after being undressed by Ted

THAT ^^ would be priceless :)

Wow Georgie was called out and spews some arcane cliches which meant nothing. This kid is on fire calling out the Bohner and the establishment. He really put Georgie in his place.

Sadly, when George Will leaves his sheltered world of baseball, his mind turns to mush.

As you know, Laura Ingraham long ago saw this coming and advanced the idea of ONE conservative in the primary rather than 5 beating each other endlessly. I say Cruz.

My question here for the forum; whom if not Ted ? Let's hear it. We've got to get this done.

One from the Right, One for the Fight

Should I trademark that one ?

Amazing both Bachmann and DeLauro voted against the bill...I think the only time you’ll see them together is in the ladies room, and I doubt Rosa DeLauro (Dumbbell/Marxist -CT) is a lady.

I don’t see anyone else that has a realitic chance other than Ted Cruz. He’s as good as we can get and with enough money and I’m talking hundreds of millions, he’s very viable.
As yo say interject four or five other candidates into the mix and just say hello to mitt or jeb.
It’s ours to manage right now.....
